Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actor as a child soon after her move to the United States. She gained notoriety for her roles in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was initially selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of 2 she left with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained a GED. After that she was able to receive an Associate of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned the art of improv comedy.
